How to Purchase

How to Purchase a Puppy - Atlanta European Dobermans
Thank you for considering Atlanta European Dobermans for your new furry companion! We are dedicated to providing you with a healthy, well-socialized Doberman Pinscher that will become a loving member of your family. To ensure that you have a smooth and enjoyable experience, we’ve outlined the steps involved in purchasing one of our puppies.
Step 1: Research
Before moving forward with purchasing a Doberman puppy, we encourage you to do thorough research about the breed. Dobermans are loyal, intelligent, and protective dogs, making them wonderful companions but also requiring a family that can provide them with structure, training, and exercise. Consider if this breed fits your lifestyle, and feel free to ask us any questions about what it takes to care for a Doberman.
Step 2: Contact Us
Once you have decided that a Doberman is the right breed for you, the next step is to reach out to us. You can contact us via email or phone to inquire about available puppies or upcoming litters. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about the breed, our breeding practices, and the current availability of puppies.
You can also fill out our Contact Us form to get in touch with us.
Step 3: Reserve A Puppy
To reserve a puppy, we require a deposit. The deposit secures your spot in line for selecting a puppy and ensures that the puppy will be held for you. The amount of the deposit varies, so please inquire about the specifics during your initial consultation.
Once the deposit is received, you will be added to our list of prospective buyers. We will keep you updated on the puppy’s progress as they grow.
Step 4: Puppy Selection
After contacting us, we will guide you through the process of selecting the right puppy. Depending on availability, we may have litters ready for adoption, or we may have upcoming litters you can reserve a spot for. We will provide photos, videos, and regular updates so you can get to know the puppies as they grow.
Once the puppies are old enough (usually around 8 weeks old), you will have the opportunity to meet the puppies in person and make your final selection. If you’re not local to Georgia, we can also arrange virtual meetings.
Step 5: Final Payment
When the puppies are ready to go home (typically at 8 weeks old), we will contact you to arrange for final payment. The remaining balance is due at this time. We accept payment through various methods, including cash, bank transfer, or other approved options.
Our puppies are priced based on their pedigree, quality, and other factors. If you would like more details about pricing, please reach out to us for more information.
Step 6: Preparing for Your New Puppy
Once the adoption is confirmed, we encourage you to prepare your home for your new puppy. Here are some things to get ready:
- Crate: Make sure you have a crate that is comfortable for your new puppy.
- Food & Water Bowls: Use high-quality bowls for feeding and hydration.
- Puppy Food: We provide a starter bag of food, but it’s important to have enough food for the transition period.
- Bedding: Set up a cozy bed where your puppy can rest.
- Toys & Chews: Stock up on safe toys and chews to keep your puppy entertained.
- Training & Care: Be ready to start basic training, including housebreaking and crate training.
We will provide you with a detailed puppy care guide to help you get started with training and caring for your new family member.
Step 7: Bringing Your Puppy Home
When it’s time for your puppy to go home, we will ensure that they are healthy, happy, and ready for their new life with you. Our puppies come with the following:
- Health record and vaccination history
- Microchip information
- A bag of food they’ve been eating
- A health guarantee
We also provide support and guidance to help you with the transition, whether this is your first Doberman or you are an experienced owner. Our relationship doesn’t end with the sale; we’re here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about your puppy’s care.
Step 8: Ongoing Support
At Atlanta European Dobermans, we’re here to support you long after your puppy has joined your home. If you ever have questions about training, health, or any other aspects of raising your Doberman, don’t hesitate to reach out. We want to ensure that you and your new puppy have a long and happy life together.
